Bradley Kynard, baritone, has performed many roles throughout the Bay Area and Northern California. Last year Mr. Kynard made his San Francisco Opera debut as Daggoo in Moby-Dick. Previous roles include Alfio Cavalleria Rusticana, Remendado Carmen, and Lord Cecil Roberto Devereux with Pocket Opera. Other engagements include Marchese d’Obigny La Traviata with Opera San Jose, Chirurgo La Forza del destino with West Bay Opera and Robbins Porgy and Bess with Mendocino Music Festival. Mr. Kynard also sings with the San Francisco Opera chorus.
“Caliban, sung by baritone Bradley Kynard, not only looked the part but acted with energy and thoughtfulness. He sang with wit and punctuated his lines with appropriate small fusillades of pique. He was plaintive when he stated his case as Caliban…”
“The grumpy, resentful Caliban is the smooth-toned and rangy baritone Bradley Kynard who nails the role. Although given a grunt and groan personality, he excels in two significant solos of self-loathing over his ugliness and disgusting nature. Declaring himself the wormiest of worms in one, he demonstrates a taxonomy of worms in a funny patter-like treatment.”
“The third principal is baritone Bradley Kynard, who plays the school janitor in present time and General Montgomery in the flashback. Although some of his musical lines are at the bottom of his range, he sings those with great professionalism, and he flourishes in his mid and upper range with sonorous tone even in dissonant passages.”

“As Marquis D’Obigny, baritone Bradley Kynard had a suave presence, showing off an appealingly mellow and full voice.”
